Ono Sports Handball for the Kiryat Ono community
This week, a derby game was held by the " Hapoel Kiryat Ono " handball team in the U10 Boys' Handball League, in which members of the Gilboa House Recreation Club, in cooperation with the Akim Israel Association, were guests as fans at the game.
The activity is a follow-up to a welcome initiative led by Naomi Epstein Gilad, manager of the 10th boys' group led by coach Ran Cannon, for a meeting held to light a Hanukkah candle at Gilboa House.
At the meeting, members of the Gilboa House Club were given the club's mascot shirt, which was donated by the team parents and the Hapoel Kiryat Ono Handball Club, as part of their role as spectators in the audience.
The event took place in the presence of Amir Drucker, director of the Kiryat Ono Basketball Club, and the players of the 10th Boys' Teams, coached by Ran Cannon and Liel Cohen.
The event was attended by Israel Gal - Mayor of Kiryat Ono, his deputy - Social Services Portfolio Holder, Mr. Yaron Yaakovi, Deputy Mayor Mr. Moshe Dali, Mrs. Lilach Trebinovich, Director of the Social Services Division, and Amit Asael - City Council Member.
Amir Drucker, the club's director and a handball instructor at the "Ben Zvi" High School in the city, spoke and noted the importance and values of the club as educating the future generation in the values of sports and excellence, alongside the values of giving and recognizing the different and the other in the Kiryat Ono community.
The players and the audience in the stands were very excited, and even the members of the Gilboa House Club were very happy about the hospitality and thanked the parents and players for the lovely and exciting hospitality .
The Gilboa Club managers and staff and the club members wished to note that they enjoyed themselves and wanted to meet with the players again, and some even noted that it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Ono Handball Club invites you to take part in the activities of the Ono Handball Association and those who are interested in donating their time or money for additional activities for the handball community and the Kiryat Ono community.
